Well, Open Studio is over for another year. It was quite an event. As always, it was extremely well organized and coordinated. The catalog was terrific and people found us easily. First day of the first weekend was dreadfully hot, and, of course, being Santa Cruzans, we ain’t used to that stuff. So people stopped coming at about two. But the other three days were terrific – a nice number of people showed up; we met neighbors that we did not know; had visitors from other parts of the Bay Area, and a nice bunch of buyers. So, we pronounce it a success. Thanks to all of you who came; it was great to meet you. Hope we will meet up again next year, but, in the meantime, if you want to see/buy/think about my rugs, come to the Pajaro Valley Quilt Assn show at the Watsonville Fairgrounds on February 21 and 22. I will be in Booth #9. You can also contact us at any time, and we will give you a private showing. Or come back to this website where we have just set up our store. The site is still “in process,” as they say (aren’t they always), but you can see the rugs that are now available and we will add new ones as they get made.
